Track 2 of 5
Before writing any code I designed everything in Figma: palette, typefaces (Sora, Geist and Geist Mono), components and desktop and mobile screens. The code copies those tokens; it doesn’t invent colours.
The bunny was modelled in Blender as a vinyl figure and rendered in layers (head, ears, eyes, arms) and poses. On the web it is animated in 2D: it blinks, breathes, follows the pointer and dances. Three.js wasn’t needed: the 3D look comes from the render, not from the browser.
The decision that changed the design most came after the first version: on desktop, no screen scrolls. Everything fits in the window height and long content scrolls inside its panel. About and Contact became discs in the bar that drop onto a turntable when pressed. On mobile, those two pages do scroll the whole view when they don’t fit.
